Wuyi Shi Ru 2023

Mysterious, refined semi-green tea with a rich, mineral taste and aroma reminiscent of rare woods, fruits, and sweet, warm milk with a fresh spicy aftertaste.

Despite general consensus on higher dosing of cliff oolongs we strongly recommend to go lighter with this one. Don't be afraid to experiment and try even half the amount you'd use normally with your YanCha. Only then the true character of this old, heritage cultivar from the pristine inner WuYi shines and clearly displays the typical notes of warm milk gently transitioning to flowery, fruity and mineral notes. We've especially noticed a lingering note of candied orange peels.
