Liubao & Heicha
Heicha, or "dark teas" in Chinese, are fermented and matured, often archived for decades, with an earthy calmness and deep strength. The opposite of love at first sight. But once you get the hang of them, you'll love them, especially in the winter. In contrast to pleasant teas reminiscent of flowers or fruit, dark teas open up unknown corners of the sommelier's vocabulary – soil, stable, forest after rain, old wood, roots, clay. The rustic aroma often hides a dense, soft expression and beneficial effects for which traditional Chinese medicine values them so much.
