The ingredients of our incense sticks come from different places in Asia. They are always pure naturally growing incense woods, resins or herbs. The natural origin is important for the aroma and for a healthy effect on the body and mind, similarly to tea from old or wild trees. Just as in the world of tea, Taiwan combines the depth of ancient Chinese culture with Japanese precision and cleanliness. Our incense sticks are masterfully processed in family manufacture, where the skill of choosing the ingredients, blending and processing has been passed down through three generations.

Agarwood (or Chen Xiang, Eaglewood, Aquila wood or Oud) is the most precious and supposedly the oldest of all aroma essences, used for incense, perfumes or in traditional Chinese medicine. It is harvested from the agarwood tree after it's been harmed or infected by pests or fungi and has secreted the aromatic resin. Agarwood used in our incense is wildly growing, which means it comes from forests and is not farmed or artificially processed. It eases, refreshes and creates a calm and meditative mood, according to Chinese medicine it regulates flowing of the Qi energy. It doesn't interrupt tea tasting, on the contrary, it pairs nicely with the tea, both in taste and effect. In Asia, it is often used at tea ceremonies and gatherings or to promote sales in tea shops.
